Shrimp Cocktail “Shooters” Put some sauce in the bottom of a cordial glass, hang some cooked shrimp on the rim and you’ve got an appetizer that everyone loves. Make your own cocktail sauce with ketchup and horseradish – go to taste on both. Or try this spicy version: Spicy Shrimp Cocktail Sauce Mix together 2 cups mayonnaise, up to 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce (mind you, this is sweet but still very hot – find it in the Thai aisle), Siracha Thai chili sauce to taste (I’d start out with a tablespoon) and then squeeze some fresh lemon juice, again to taste. You’ll need a couple tablespoons or so. |
