Elves shortbread cookie recipe.
These are perfect for toddlers, as each shortbread cookie is tiny enough to be picked up by little fingers. Bet you can’t eat just one!
1-1/2 cups flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 stick butter, chunked up
2 tablespoons colored sprinkles
Preheat oven to 325.
Stir together flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine
crumbs and starts to cling. Stir in sprinkles. Form into a ball and knead
jut until smooth.
Roll or pat dough onto ungreased cookie sheet into an 8x5 rectangle. Cut into 1/2” squares and separate the squares as best you can right on the cookie sheet. Bake 12-14 minutes.
Makes lots of tiny short bread cookies.
