Onion Dip

Love starts in the kitchen, even if we have little time to put a meal on the table.

VIDALIA ONION DIP

Wow! Talk about good. You can’t go by looks on this addictive onion dip appetizer. To dress it up, sprinkle with parsley. Great to tote to a potluck, as it tastes good hot, warm or room temperature.

3 large Vidalia or other sweet onions, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup mayonnaise
8 oz or so sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Tabasco sauce to taste – start with a couple shakes
1 large clove garlic, minced

Preheat oven to 375. Sauté onions in butter. Blend with mayonnaise, cheese, Tabasco and garlic. Pour into sprayed casserole and bake 20-25 minutes until bubbly. Serve our onion dip with tortilla chips or crackers.

Enjoy this delicious Onion Dip!
