Halloween Recipes |
Gosh, how times have changed. When we were kids, Halloween was a homespun affair - my 7 sisters and I were always gypsies for Halloween (that way we got to wear makeup and Mom's jewelry) and my brother was always a hobo.
It was easy enough to make his face "dirty" by using my Dad's art supplies - his charcoal pencils worked great. And as far as hobo clothes, heck, all he had to do was go into his room and dig out an outfit complete with torn pants, buttonless shirt, etc.
Today the kids, for the most part, want store bought costumes for Halloween. And celebrations for Halloween are right behind Christmas and Thanksgiving as the most popular. So whether you dress up from your closet or the mall, have a ghoulish Halloween! And enjoy these Halloween recipes.
I never cease to be amazed a the burgeoning interest in Halloween parties. Each year the interest, and recipe sharing for these parties, grows.
I hope you enjoy the recipes I’m sharing – some are mine, some
are favorites shared by readers who, I might add, are the best!
