Grilling CornGrilled Corn: To Husk or Not?To husk grilled corn before cooking or not, to soak or not, and how long does it really take to make grilled corn? The debate drones on. Leaving the husk on and soaking in cold water for at least 30 minutes before grilling allows the corn to steam inside the husk. I don’t bother with soaking. I strip back the husk, leaving it attached for an instant handle, and tie the husk with string. After the corn is buttered and seasoned, it goes on a hot grill. I’ll slip a piece of foil under the husks and keep them away from the hot part of the grill so they don’t burn. It takes
about 15 minutes of turning and basting until the grilled
corn is slightly charred and lip-smacking delicious. Grilled Corn, Grilled Salmon and Grilled Potatoes make a great meal - with Grilled Bananas Foster for Dessert!
