These are great as a side dish or pizza topping and are a great topper for mashed potatoes. These can be frozen up to a month.
6 large onions, peeled and sliced into ¼” slices
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 teaspoons dark brown sugar or substitute
Place onions in crock pot. Drizzle oil over and sprinkle with sugar. Cook
on low 8-10 hours or high 4-5.
