Corn Bread Recipe

DeSha’s Famous Corn Bread Recipe

This serves 10-15. Andy Gabriel, then Chef at De Sha’s in 1996, shared this recipe during a cooking class he did for me. If I remember correctly, this really filled up the 9x13 pan so you may want to use that and another small pan, as well. You be the judge!
6 eggs
1-1/2 cups Canola oil
2-1/3 cups creamed style corn
3 cups self rising corn meal
3 cups sour cream
1/3 cup sugar
Mix eggs in the mixer, then slowly add Canola oil. Fold in rest of ingredients. Bake in sprayed 9x13 pan 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees.
