Caramel Peanut Butter Apple Recipes

GOOSEBUMP CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER APPLES

Both big, and little goblins, love these! The crunchy coating is the “goosebump” part of these beloved treats.

6 popsicle sticks
6 small to medium apples
1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
1-1/2 cups peanut butter morsels
1 tablespoon oil
1-1/2 cups chopped nuts or crushed pretzels

Insert stick into top of each apple. Cook morsels and oil in heavy saucepan over low heat until morsels melt.

Dip apples in mixture, coating well and scraping bottom of apple on rim of pan to remove excess; then roll in nuts.

Place on waxed paper lined baking sheet. Chill until firm. Makes 6.
