Now these are easy enough for the kids to make.
1 package German chocolate cake mix
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
Preheat oven to 350.
Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Pour into a sprayed jelly roll pan (15x10x1). Beat cream cheese and sugar together. Stir in 1/4 cup of the chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoonfuls over the batter. Cut through batter with a knife to swirl the cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with rest of chocolate chips. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and cut into bars. Makes 24-36
bars.
